Webull trading journal

About this integration

Webull does not offer a public OAuth API, but it is supported through the SnapTrade aggregator — the setup is read-only and TFQ never sees Webull credentials directly. A CSV upload also works. Prefer SnapTrade if you trade options: it records the contract multiplier, and the CSV export does not (see known issues).

Setup

1. 1System → Brokers → Connect Webull (via SnapTrade)
2. 2Sign in to Webull and approve the read-only connection
3. 3Back in TFQ, click Sync on the brokers page to pull your trade history
4. 4Click Sync again whenever you want new trades pulled in — TFQ does not sync in the background
5. 5CSV instead: in Webull, Account → Statements & Tax Documents → Trade History → export CSV (email it to yourself if exporting from mobile)
6. 6In TFQ: System → Brokers → Upload CSV, select "Webull" from the preset dropdown (or let auto-detection pick it)

How to export your trades from Webull

Webull writes its trade history at Account → Statements & Tax Documents → Trade History. In TradeFlow Quantum that file imports with the Webull preset.

1. 1In Webull go to Account → Statements & Tax Documents → Trade History and export the trades file.
2. 2If you exported from mobile, email the CSV to yourself so you can upload it from a desktop browser.
3. 3In TradeFlow Quantum open System → Brokers → Upload CSV.
4. 4Choose "Webull" from the preset dropdown, then upload the file.

Header matching is case-insensitive and ignores punctuation and spacing, so a renamed-but-recognisable header still resolves. A file needs a ticker, an entry price, a size and a date to import at all; direction and P&L are filled in when present.

• •Webull labels the executed size Filled rather than Quantity, and it is tried first — a partially filled order should journal at the size that actually traded, not the size that was ordered.
• •Avg Price and Avg. Price differ only by a full stop. Header matching lowercases and strips punctuation before comparing, so either spelling resolves to the same column.
• •Filled Time is preferred over the vaguer Time and Date headers for the trade timestamp.

Webull import caveats

• —The Webull export carries no realized-P&L column. Where a file has no P&L, TradeFlow Quantum computes it from side, entry, exit and quantity rather than reading it off the row.

Why use TradeFlow Quantum instead of Webull's built-in tools?

• ✓Cross-broker view. If you trade Webull plus any other broker, TFQ unifies the equity curve, P&L attribution, and mistake-checker across all of them.
• ✓Mistake-checker on YOUR data — surfaces patterns in your Webull history (time-of-day, setup type, emotional state) the broker won’t show you.
• ✓Long-term data ownership. Webull’s built-in analytics typically limit history to 90 days or 1 year. TFQ keeps every trade for as long as your account exists, exportable any time — closed trades as CSV, everything including open positions as a JSON backup.
