Pick TradeFlow Quantum if…
- You want a journal that does record-keeping and self-analysis without recommending trades.
- You journal in your own words — thesis, lessons, takeaways — not just numbers.
- You use 1-3 brokers; OAuth import + CSV is enough.
- You want clear deletion + export controls and a short, readable privacy policy.
- $15/month is in your tooling budget (first 7 days are free).
Pick something else if…
- You want trade signals or alerts that fire when a pattern matches (Trade Ideas, BlackBoxStocks).
- You want algorithmic auto-trading hooked to your broker (Quantconnect, TradeStation OptionStation).
- You need US tax form generation (CryptoTrader.Tax, TurboTax + Form 8949).
- You want social features — copy traders, leaderboards, public journals (eToro, Tradervue Pro).
- Your firm needs centralized risk controls or compliance archives — TFQ is single-user only.
Frequently asked
What makes TradeFlow Quantum different from Edgewonk or Tradervue?+
TradeFlow Quantum focuses on record-keeping and self-analysis without recommending trades. It includes broker OAuth for 10 brokers, pre-trade plan + drift detection, user-authored rules with adherence tracking, and a hash-chained audit log. Edgewonk and Tradervue are mature competitors with overlapping core features; the differentiation is in OAuth breadth, pre-trade discipline, and security primitives.
How much does TradeFlow Quantum cost?+
$15/month. Flat. No tier ladder, no per-broker upcharge, no AI surcharge. 7-day free trial — card required at signup, but nothing is charged during the trial. On day 7 it becomes $15/month unless you cancel first, and we email you before that happens. Cancel in one click; no proration games, no early-termination fee.
Does TradeFlow Quantum offer trade signals or recommendations?+
No, deliberately. TradeFlow Quantum is descriptive analytics only — it shows you patterns in your historical data. It does not generate buy/sell signals, alerts when patterns match, or copy-trade suggestions. If you want signals, use Trade Ideas or BlackBoxStocks instead.
Does TradeFlow Quantum handle tax reporting?+
No. Tax reporting is deliberately out of scope. Use TurboTax, CryptoTrader.Tax, or a CPA with Form 8949. TradeFlow Quantum can export your full trade history as CSV/Excel/PDF so your tax tooling has clean data to consume.
Which brokers does TradeFlow Quantum support?+
10 brokers via OAuth: Alpaca, Charles Schwab, Tradier, Tastytrade, TradeStation, Tradovate, Questrade, OANDA, E*TRADE, Coinbase. TradeFlow Quantum only ever reads from them and has no order-placement code, but the OAuth grant is not read-only on every one of the ten — each broker page under /supported-brokers states exactly what its grant authorises. 19 broker CSV presets (Interactive Brokers Flex Query, Fidelity, Robinhood, Webull, ThinkorSwim, MetaTrader, and others). SnapTrade aggregation reaches 18 more brokerages beyond the direct OAuth list.
Is TradeFlow Quantum a good fit for prop firm traders?+
It is a fit if you want the rules tracked; it is firm-agnostic. Eval mode at /prop is where you enter the terms your own firm gave you — account size, profit target, daily loss limit, static or trailing max drawdown, minimum trading days, deadline — and it shows where your closed journal trades stand against them. There are no bundled per-firm rulebooks for Topstep, Apex, FTMO or anyone else, deliberately: firms revise their terms and we will not carry stale third-party numbers. Firm name is a free-text label. Standings are computed from your journal at closed-trade granularity, so your firm's own meter stays authoritative. Separately, the CSV importer does ship column presets for Topstep, Apex Trader Funding and MyFundedFutures export files — that is file parsing, not rule configuration.
Can I export my data if I cancel?+
Yes — anytime. Export to CSV, Excel, or PDF from your settings page. No lock-in. Your data stays in your account until you choose to delete it — there's a one-click full delete in Settings whenever you want. We don't auto-delete on cancellation.
