Changelog
What’s shipped, when, and why. Updated as work lands — no marketing fluff, just the actual changes.
- Feature
5 new public pages: security, roadmap, brokers, press, customers
Shipped /security (specifics — AES-256-GCM, RLS, hash-chained audit log, deletion SLA — not the usual 'bank-level' marketing speak), /roadmap (what's shipping, what's considered, what we deliberately won't build), /supported-brokers + 17 per-broker landing pages with OAuth scope and setup steps, /press (full media kit + brand boilerplate at 3 lengths + approved quotes), and /customers (honest empty-state explaining our no-fabrication testimonial policy). Also added a new 'Honest positioning' band on the landing page below the broker marquee — pre-filters tire-kickers by stating what TFQ isn't (signal service, auto-trader, tax tool). Plus FAQ schema on /comparison (Google FAQ rich-snippet eligibility), proper metadata + OG on /feedback and /demo (both were missing), and updated sitemap to register all 22 new URLs.
- Content
10 new blog posts + 10 new glossary terms shipped today
Blog now has 36 posts (was 26), covering tax tracking, weekly review templates, ThinkorSwim/E*TRADE/Webull broker imports, swing/day/forex/crypto journals, prop-firm requirements, and Friday-trade patterns. The /learn glossary jumped from 18 to 28 entries — Calmar, recovery factor, volatility, beta, alpha, slippage, risk-reward ratio, trailing stops, take-profit, and hedging all newly explained.
- Improvement
Magic-link auth + Google sign-in (no password to remember)
Sign-up is now email + 6-digit code only — no password field, ever. Returning users get the same 6-digit-code experience at /sign-in. Or sign up with one click via 'Continue with Google'. Built on Clerk's headless hooks so the UI matches the rest of the site instead of looking like a generic widget.
- Fix
Pricing flipped to \$17/month with 7-day free trial
Down from a 30-day trial. Same card-free signup (email only). Day 7 the trial converts if you've added a payment method; otherwise it ends — nothing charged. Updated everywhere: /pricing, the Stripe Checkout endpoint, all trial-reminder emails, every blog post, the schema.org Offer data feeding Google.
- Improvement
Sync, delete, and rule-toggle buttons now show loading state
If a broker sync or trade delete is in flight, the button now says 'Syncing…' / 'Deleting…' and disables until the action completes. Catches the double-click problem that used to surface duplicate-trade errors.
- Improvement
Free trial is now card-free at signup
No more credit card field on Stripe Checkout — just email. You get full access immediately. If you want to keep using the app past the trial, add a payment method anytime during your trial. If you don't, your trial just ends — nothing charged, ever.
- Feature
20 new blog posts queued through October
Pre-written backlog of 20 trading-journal comparison and how-to posts now scheduled to auto-publish at 1/week through October 2026. Covers Tradezella, Edgewonk, Tradervue, Webull, Fidelity, prop firms, options journaling, R-multiples, profit factor, and more.
- Improvement
Structured data on every page
Added JSON-LD schema (Organization, WebSite, Product, FAQ, Article, BreadcrumbList) so Google + AI search engines render rich snippets — star ratings, FAQ accordions, price chips — directly in search results.
- Content
Public dashboard demo at /demo
500 sample trades pre-loaded. Full dashboard with equity curve, calendar, top setups, recent trades. No signup required to see what TradeFlow Quantum looks like in use.
- Improvement
Landing page TTFB dropped 85%
Moved the signed-in redirect into middleware so the landing page can be statically generated. Cold-load TTFB dropped from 2.14s to 0.31s for new visitors.
- Content
First SEO blog post
Tradezella alternatives in 2026 — comprehensive comparison of trade-journal tools. Live at /blog/tradezella-alternatives-2026.
- Feature
Reddit ad creatives + UTM tracking
Six production-ready 1080×1080 Reddit ad PNGs at /ads-preview, each with UTM-tagged destination URLs so Vercel Analytics can attribute signups to specific creatives.
- Feature
SnapTrade aggregator integration
One connection unlocks 20+ brokers without public OAuth APIs — Robinhood, Webull, Fidelity, Vanguard, Public.com, IBKR (read-only), eToro, Trading 212, Wealthsimple Trade, Questrade, plus several crypto exchanges.
- Improvement
Bigger calendar fonts
Daily P&L numbers and trade counts are now readable at a glance instead of microscopic. Cell padding adjusted to match.
- Feature
/feedback and /help pages
Public feedback submission form (forwards via email) and a help page indexed for SEO. Footer links updated across app + marketing.
- Feature
30-day free trial
Stripe Checkout now provisions a 30-day trial. (Note: at launch the trial required a card up-front. Updated June 2026 to a card-free signup — see the June 1 entry.)
- Feature
Interactive landing-page mockups
The day-of-week heatmap and post-trade grading sections on the landing page are now click-to-cycle — visitors can play with the data to see what the analytics actually look like.
