About this integration

Robinhood does not offer a public OAuth API. We integrate via SnapTrade. Robinhood's account types (regular, Cash Management, Crypto) all sync through one SnapTrade connection.

How to export your trades from Robinhood

Robinhood writes its trade history at Account → Settings → Request Account Data. In TradeFlow Quantum that file imports with the Robinhood preset.

1. 1On Robinhood.com go to Account → Settings → Request Account Data.
2. 2Robinhood produces a ZIP. Unzip it — the trades are in a CSV inside.
3. 3In TradeFlow Quantum open System → Brokers → Upload CSV.
4. 4Choose "Robinhood" from the preset dropdown, then upload that CSV.

Header matching is case-insensitive and ignores punctuation and spacing, so a renamed-but-recognisable header still resolves. A file needs a ticker, an entry price, a size and a date to import at all; direction and P&L are filled in when present.

• •Robinhood names the ticker column Instrument, not Symbol. Both are accepted, Instrument first — the Robinhood preset and the generic auto-detect preset each list it.
• •Trans Code is read as both the direction and the action column. It carries BUY, SELL, STO and BTC.
• •Trans Code is also where the contract multiplier comes from on this preset, because Instrument holds the bare underlying rather than the option contract code. BTO, STC, STO and BTC are Robinhood's option codes — equity fills read Buy or Sell — so rows carrying them import as options at ×100. Option assignment and expiry rows use other codes and are not identified, so they import at ×1.
• •Activity Date is the trade date. Process Date settles later, and Last Transaction At is what some third-party Robinhood export tools emit — all three are accepted, in that order of preference.

How the Robinhood connection syncs

SnapTrade. Robinhood publishes no OAuth API, so the aggregator hosts the sign-in and TradeFlow Quantum never sees Robinhood credentials.

Refresh cadence

The Daily Data tier is read-only with roughly a 24-hour lag. The Account Data export above is the way to backfill history the connection does not reach.

Robinhood import caveats

• —A Robinhood Account Data CSV interleaves non-trade rows — dividends, ACH transfers, interest, Gold subscription fees. The importer keeps only recognised trade codes (BUY, SELL, BTO, STO, BTC, STC, buy-to-cover) and reports everything else back as a skipped count, so you can check the numbers add up.
• —The export carries no realized-P&L column. Where a file has no P&L, TradeFlow Quantum computes it from side, entry, exit and quantity — and a row with no exit price is treated as exit equal to entry, which is zero P&L until the closing leg is matched.

Why use TradeFlow Quantum instead of Robinhood's built-in tools?
