Tradeify evaluation rules, explained
End-of-day trailing drawdown, enforced on open P&L, that never locks during the evaluation — with Growth and Select plans replacing the legacy Advanced account.
The published numbers
| Account | Profit target | Daily loss | Max drawdown | Min days | Consistency |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Growth 50K | $3,000 | $1,250 | $2,000 trailing (EOD) | 1 | None |
| Select 50K | $3,000 | None | $2,000 trailing (EOD) | None stated (3 in practice) | 40% best day |
The Growth daily limit pauses trading for the session. Advanced is a legacy plan. 50K accounts bought before Tradeify's new dashboard may carry a $2,500 target.

How the drawdown actually works
Tradeify moves the floor once a day, from your best closing balance, but enforces it continuously against open P&L. Getting back above the line by the close does not undo a breach that happened at lunchtime.
During the evaluation the floor never locks. Every new closing high pulls it up, all the way to the target. The lock at start + $100 applies only to funded accounts, or from your first payout request.
On Growth, the daily loss limit ($1,250 on 50K) can sit further away than the trailing floor late in an evaluation, so you can fail on drawdown before the daily pause ever triggers.
Worked example — the floor that never stops chasing
Growth 50K, $2,000 trailing drawdown. Three winning days close at $52,800, pulling the floor to $50,800. Three modest losing days follow, each well inside the $1,250 daily limit.
| Day | Day P&L | Balance after |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | +$1,200 | $51,200 |
| Day 2 | +$1,100 | $52,300 |
| Day 3 | +$500 | $52,800 |
| Day 4 | −$800 | $52,000 |
| Day 5 | −$700 | $51,300 |
| Day 6 | −$600 | $50,700 |
Result: failed on day 6 — the drawdown floor. Floor at that point: $50,800. Net P&L was +$700.
The account is up $700 and fails. Because the evaluation floor never locks, the closer you get to the target the less room you have — the opposite of how most traders picture a drawdown.
Computed at build time by the same evaluation engine the /prop copilot runs on your journal. The engine works on closed-trade balances; Tradeify enforces its limits on live equity including open P&L, so a mid-trade dip the journal never sees can still end an account. Consistency rules are not modelled. Illustrative trades, not a recommendation.
Questions traders ask
Does Tradeify's drawdown lock during the evaluation?
No. It keeps trailing your best end-of-day balance for the whole evaluation. It locks at start + $100 only on funded accounts or from your first payout request.
Is Tradeify's drawdown end-of-day or intraday?
The level is set from end-of-day balances, but it is enforced in real time on open P&L.
What replaced the Tradeify Advanced plan?
Tradeify's help center lists Advanced as legacy. The current evaluations are Growth (with a daily loss limit) and Select (no daily limit, 40% consistency rule).
