My Funded Futures evaluation rules, explained
End-of-day trailing drawdown that locks just above your starting balance, a daily loss limit that pauses, and a one-day minimum on the Builder plan.
The published numbers
| Account | Profit target | Daily loss | Max drawdown | Min days | Consistency |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Builder 50K | $3,000 | $1,000 | $2,000 trailing (EOD) | 1 | None |
Every current MFFU plan uses a trailing drawdown — none is static. Rapid and Pro plans add consistency rules (30–50%) and longer minimums. The daily loss limit pauses trading for the session.

How the drawdown actually works
MFFU resets the floor only from closing balances, so a winning trade you give back intraday does not raise it. But the floor is checked against live equity, so an open loss that dips through it ends the evaluation even if the trade recovers.
The floor stops trailing for good at $100 above your starting balance: on a 50K Builder account, once you close a day at $52,100 or more, the floor is fixed at $50,100. After that point, every dollar of risk comes out of profit you have already banked.
The TradeFlow preset locks the floor at the starting balance rather than $100 above it, so once the lock is reached the copilot shows $100 more cushion than MFFU's own meter.
Worked example — passing before the floor matters
Builder 50K, $2,000 trailing drawdown, $3,000 target. Four steady winning days, none bigger than $1,200.
| Day | Day P&L | Balance after |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | +$1,200 | $51,200 |
| Day 2 | +$900 | $52,100 |
| Day 3 | +$600 | $52,700 |
| Day 4 | +$400 | $53,100 |
Result: passed — target of $3,000 reached with the minimum days met. Drawdown floor ended at $50,000.
The floor locked on day two, after the $52,100 close. From there the trader could absorb about $2,000 of losses before failing — the same cushion as at the start, but now made of their own profit.
Computed at build time by the same evaluation engine the /prop copilot runs on your journal. The engine works on closed-trade balances; My Funded Futures enforces its limits on live equity including open P&L, so a mid-trade dip the journal never sees can still end an account. Consistency rules are not modelled. Illustrative trades, not a recommendation.
Questions traders ask
Is the MFFU drawdown static or trailing?
Trailing on every current plan. On Builder it trails end-of-day balances and stops at $100 above the starting balance.
Do open losses count at My Funded Futures?
Yes. The floor is set from closing balances but enforced on live equity, so an unrealised loss through it fails the evaluation.
What happened to the MFFU Starter plan?
MFFU's current help center lists Builder, Rapid and Pro plans and has no Starter plan. Builder 50K has the closest numbers to the old Starter account.
